Overview:
As an AutoCAD Technician, you will play a key role in the design and detailing of steel-framed buildings. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams, you will prepare precise technical drawings that guide manufacturing and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD software & Vertex BD.
* Interpret architectural and structural specifications to design layouts and components.
* Liaise with engineering teams to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building standards.
* Revise drawings as required based on feedback from internal teams or external clients.
* Maintain organized records of all design files and version changes.
* Assist in updating standard drawing templates and libraries.
* Ensure alignment with company's manufacturing capabilities and site installation requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D an advantage). Vertex BD
* Background in construction, architecture, or structural engineering preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
