Job Description
We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our manufacturing site in Clonshaugh. The role involves managing the forecasting, planning, and scheduling of manufacturing production to meet S&OP demand while ensuring timely and continuous supply of quality materials. The Planner will also contribute to support product introductions and Pharm Tech activities. The role requires collaboration within a team environment and reports to the planning manager.
Responsibilities:
* Review demand forecasts and develop strategies to resolve gaps.
* Schedule production of goods to meet operating plan objectives.
* Manage procurement schedules and inventories via SAP.
* Ensure timely delivery of components and materials.
* Collaborate across production teams to meet goals.
* Maintain accountability for planning team metrics.
* Ensure data reports are accurate and distributed on time.
* Manage expiration-sensitive materials and supply chain metrics.
* Issue reports and updates to management on KPIs.
* Support established processes and productivity targets.
* Seek continuous process improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in science, business, supply chain, or relevant technical discipline preferred.
* 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/distribution.
* Experience in manufacturing planning concepts and creating forecast models.
* Metric management experience.
* Familiarity with manufacturing practices like OPEX.
