The Job
We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our growing team.
This role involves working with our L&D team, colleagues in retail stores, and Regional Teams to design, implement, and review people plans for each store from an L&D perspective.
* Provide relevant and tailored training and advice to Regional Managers and Retail Partners, influencing and coaching Store owners where necessary.
* Coordinate and deliver on-site Customer Service Training with retail teams.
* Offer advice to Owners and Managers on tools and techniques to exceed customer expectations and develop their business through their people.
* Support Super Valu and Centra Retailers to lead positive cultural change in their businesses.
* Coordinate and deliver on-site Leadership and Management Training (Feedback, Coaching, Communication Skills etc.).
* Support store owners and managers to complete training needs analysis for their teams and develop appropriate learning plans via the Musgrave Institute.
* Facilitate workshops with Store Owners, Managers, and other senior stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of L&D and behavioural change initiatives.
* Advise Retailers on all aspects of Learning and Development, career development, and employee engagement.
* Assess regional performance and report service levels (through Mystery Shopper audits and internal assessments).
* Support the implementation and rollout of our new Digital Learning Platform.
* May be required to work on various HR projects and support other Musgrave brands.
What We Are Looking For
* A strong background in coaching and facilitation with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
* An interest in working in the retail sector with a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to large groups.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a training-related role.
* Previous experience in a Learning and Development focused role would be advantageous.
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
* Proven relationship building and influencing skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
* A full driving license is essential.
What Is Nice To Have
* Certification in Training or Coaching or an IITD qualification. Experience in E-Learning Design. Experience implementing a learning experience platform.
