Position Details
Job Purpose: Accenture, a global leader in professional services, delivers advertising sales support to platform clients, enabling advertisers—from small businesses to enterprise customers—to maximize the potential of digital advertising platforms. The Ad Sales Representative (ASR) manages and grows relationships with existing advertising clients, optimizes campaigns, and drives incremental revenue. This role supports multiple campaign types and aims to drive platform adoption and advertiser success.
The ASR provides full-funnel sales support, combining consultative selling, data analysis, and customer service to meet client goals in a hybrid sales environment.
Campaign types include Search Ads, Display Ads, Product Listing Ads (PLA), Product Category Ads (PCA), and Sponsored Ads.
Responsibilities
* Manage pre-existing and newly onboarded advertisers across campaign types.
* Deliver strategic consulting, product education, campaign diagnostics, and budget optimization advice.
* Respond to inquiries, resolve campaign-related issues, and upsell new features or products.
* Drive customer satisfaction, increase advertising ROI, and achieve KPIs in a hybrid sales and account optimization role.
* Advertising Strategy & Optimization: analyze advertiser accounts, assess performance metrics, and recommend optimizations; leverage platform tools to improve delivery and ROI; propose solutions to enhance campaign quality and efficiency.
* Customer Relationship Management: build long-term relationships with small- and medium-business advertisers; conduct needs analyses; provide high-touch consultative support; monitor satisfaction and retention.
* Inbound & Outbound Sales Execution: handle inbound inquiries, conduct outbound calls, identify upsell opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
* Campaign Lifecycle Management: set up, activate, and monitor PLA, PCA, Sponsored Product, and Display campaigns; collaborate on ad creative; maintain account hygiene; support transitions to active management.
* Reporting, Analysis, and Forecasting: create performance reports, track pipelines and KPIs, maintain CRM data and documentation.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: partner with marketing, technical support, and product teams; relay feedback to drive improvements; participate in team planning and reviews.
Skills & Qualifications
* Core Sales & Consultative Abilities: prospecting, cold-calling, relationship management, and value-based pitching; proven ability to meet/exceed quotas in high-volume sales.
* Digital Marketing & Ad Platform Knowledge: knowledge of Google Ads, Amazon Advertising Console, Flipkart Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), or equivalent; understanding of CPC, CPA, CPM, CTR, ROAS; experience with PLA, PCA, Display, Search, Sponsored Product, and e-commerce campaigns.
* Analytical & Technical Proficiency: campaign diagnostics, trend identification, proficiency with spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytics; familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
* Communication & Client Engagement: excellent verbal and written communication, ability to engage with decision-makers, and strong interpersonal skills; able to tailor messaging to different audiences.
* Other Skills: strong presentation skills, ability to assess customer needs, cross-functional collaboration, flexibility to handle multiple duties, and reliable time management.
Experience & Education
* Minimum: 2+ years of experience; German language level C1.
* Client Target Market Experience: demonstrated ability to expand revenue within existing client portfolios and to secure new opportunities through upselling; track record of maintaining advertiser investment year over year.
* Preferred: 2+ years in sales, account management, customer support, marketing, or consulting; experience with digital ads and digital media platforms; experience in advertising sales and quota attainment; CRM experience.
* Minimum Education: Post-secondary degree (preferably marketing or business) or equivalent experience selling digital solutions for 2+ years; native level English (where applicable in market).
Operating Model
Hybrid model; flexibility to work up to 50% of time in office. Must reside within the specified boundary limits.
