VP Operational Risk,Technology & CybersecurityDublin, Ireland|Financial Services | Permanent | HybridWe're partnering with a leading financial institution seeking aVP, Operational Risk, Technology & Cybersecurityto strengthen its second-line risk function in Dublin.In this senior role, you'll provide independent oversight and challenge across technology and cybersecurity risk, ensuring the firm's control environment and operational risk appetite are effectively managed across Irish and European entities.If you have a deep understanding of technology risk, regulatory expectations, and strong stakeholder influence, this opportunity offers real impact at senior level.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee second-line risk management for technology and cybersecurity operations.Partner with senior stakeholders to embed a consistent risk framework across regional entities.Manage and monitor technology risk appetite statements and profiles.Review and challenge RCSAs, control testing, and technology asset risk assessments.Lead analysis and reporting of internal loss events and remediation plans.Provide second-line review of significant change initiatives impacting EU entities.Stay current on cyber and tech-risk regulations, emerging threats, and best practice.Requirements10+ years in financial services, with a focus on technology, risk, or controls.Minimum 3 years in operational risk management (second line).Strong knowledge of wholesale banking regulation and governance requirements.Proven experience working with technical SMEs across incident, change, and problem management.Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
