Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Heavy Plant Engineer. The Heavy Plant Engineer will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance of heavy plant and machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include equipment inspections, conducting troubleshooting and diagnostics, managing plant operations, and servicing power generation systems. The role also involves ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Plant Engineering, Plant Maintenance, and Plant Operations
* Proficiency in Troubleshooting and conducting diagnostics of heavy plant machinery
* Knowledge and experience in Power Generation systems
* A solid understanding of heavy machinery safety and performance standards
* Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and technical knowledge
* Ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive and professional approach
* A relevant engineering qualification or significant experience in heavy plant machinery
* Experience with the Sany, Rokbak, Genie, or Mecalac equipment is a plus
* Strong communication and organizational skills
