Main Job Responsibilities
The primary goal of this role is to provide comprehensive support to store management and colleagues in all aspects of security operations.
Key duties include:
* Actively embodying the SuperValu brand values: Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative, and Imaginative
* Protecting store assets
* Assisting the store owner/manager in preventing stock loss/theft within the store
* Ensuring a safe environment for customers and employees
* Key holding responsibilities, including opening/closing the store
* Conducting routine spot checks on waste, deliveries, closing stock, refunds, voids, and employees
* Carrying out investigation work when required
* Maintaining CCTV records
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this position, candidates must possess:
* Previous experience in a retail security role
* A current PSA Security Guard License is essential
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
