Description: RIGHT Group are a leading Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Company with a significant track record in the Water/Waste Water Sector.
We are now seeking an Site/Project Manager that will work as part of a multi disciplinary team to manage M&E projects in the Water & Wastewater sector in Ireland in both municipal and industrial settings.
The role will cover multiple sites in proximity of the midlands.
The role will require strong technical skills and communication and interaction with managers, engineers, internal and external team members, suppliers and clients.
Roles and Responsibilities; Full authority and responsibility for managing projectsofvarious scale and complexityfrom handover to completionensuring projects are delivered on time, to an agreed level of quality and within approved budget and scope.
Develop and control detailed project plans and schedulesfrominitialpricing documents/specificationsand develop resource loaded schedules includingthe development of RAMSfor project completion.
Outline timescales,costsand resources needed to deliver the project including theidentification of project risks and issues and the plans to mitigate those risks.
Project stakeholder management,both internal and external, to ensure effective delivery of projectobjectives, being the main project contact for client and company.
Procurement and acquisition of all items tofacilitateproject completion within agreed budget/specifications including recording,management, and reportingofthis information.
Oversee and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle, andcontinually provide soundfinancial managementand control within each project.
Ensure there is strong safety culture on all sites you manage through adherence to Quality, Health and Safety & Compliance standards and CompanySHEQManagement System.The project manager shall also ensure good housekeeping and compliance with current SHEQ Guidelines are adhered to by all personnel.
Ensure all projects are installedin line with project agreedquantities,budgetsand specifications andto the highest quality in compliance with supplier's current guidelines and recommendations.
Attend weeklymeetingswith Commercial/ContractsManager and monthlymeetingwithOperations/Senior Managementpresenting effective &accurateproject progress reports.
Carefully manage, formulate,and document all events that may have potential commercial outcomes(i.e.project related quotations, payment applications, purchase orders, interim and final reports)keeping accurate up to date records and site diariesand includingas installed drawings, test results and other documentationrequired for the effective and timely handover of the project at completion stage(s).
Proactively resolve performance, scope,costand schedule issues including management of alterations/variations to the original project scope.
Support senior management in the delivery of strategicobjectives.
Effectivelymaintainand develop healthy client andexternalstakeholder relationships.
Will work closely with other RIGHT Project Managers, Supervisors, Engineering teams, Support services, and Suppliers in support of our mutual goals.
Qualifications/Skillsrequired; Degree qualified and/or Trade qualified with suitable experience A proventrack recordof working in a role with similar responsibilities and duties.
Industry relevantexperience.
Strong engineering, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Health, Safety and Environmental systems awareness and experience.
Full drivers licence.
MS Officeexperienceis essential.
Demonstrable ability to learn and work with other company software's as necessaryi.eproject/time management software and ERP/CRM systemsdepending on role.
Excellent atteam building,collaboration,motivation, andholding team members accountable for meeting stringent deadlines and results.
Presentation, influencing, negotiating and conflict management skills.
Interpersonal skills and an understanding of the customer/client relationship involved in project delivery.
Ability to develop robust plans and strategies to manage the project lifespan.
Additional Requirements: Full EU/ Irish driving licence.
Some Travel will be required with the role.
Remuneration: €60,000 t0 €75,000 - negotiable based on experience + company vehicle, phone & laptop as required.
