Events Operations Manager
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in wedding and events management. The ideal candidate will be highly effective in leading a team, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining the highest standards across all functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all wedding, banquet, and event operations within the hotel
* Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all functions to ensure exceptional quality
* Coordinate closely with various departments, including kitchen, bar, front office, and sales
* Act as primary point of contact for wedding couples and event clients, ensuring seamless delivery of services
* Deliver clear service briefings and supervise staff during events
* Support team training on service standards, guest care, and food & beverage knowledge
* Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized working environment
* Handle any incidents or issues during service professionally and efficiently
* Contribute to stock, rota, and cost control where necessary
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel or equivalent, with a hospitality qualification being advantageous
* Proven experience in managing weddings and private functions
* Strong leadership skills in high-volume service environments
* Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
* Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards
* Full legal right to work in Ireland
