Offer description

Responsibilities

1. Accountable for review and approval of all ongoing servicing activities provided to clients, including but not limited to monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, corporate ie tax and VAT returns of client
2. Financial accounting duties for client including:
3. Review and/or preparation of management accounts and any other ad-hoc reports required
4. Review and/or preparation of consolidated and/or entity statutory financial statements;
5. Preparation and filing of regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland, where required, on a timely basis;
co-ordinate and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process
6. Preparation, review and filing of client tax returns ( VAT, RCT, Corporation tax and Payroll taxes) and liaise with tax advisors where required
7. Responsible for the internal control of the client accounting and administration processes in use; Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies, and implementing change
8. Co-ordination and management of the annual audit process and taxpliance work, ensuring review for all audit deliverables as required
9. Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and also with third parties such as Auditors, Tax advisors, Legal advisors, Revenue and banks as required
10. Ad hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time
Attributes/Technical Skills

11. Excellentmunication (written and verbal) and client servicing skills
12. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
13. Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilities
14. Team player with flexible and hands-on approach where required
15. Proficient in Microsoft office
16. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Relevant Experience

17. Experience in the corporate services industry or accounting practice
18. Financial services experience ideally in aircraft leasing and/or structured finance will be a significant advantage but not required.
Education and Professional Qualification

19. Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA)
20. Hybrid working
21. 25 days annual leave per annum, increasing by 1 day each year after 2nd anniversary to a maximum of 27
