Electrical Engineers
Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit Electrical Building Services Design Engineers at all levels to our expanding M&E business. We specialise in the design, installation, and inspection of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions, delivering schemes across various property sectors including education, healthcare, industrial, residential, commercial, and retail.
This is a hybrid role with offices available in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Sligo, and Kilkenny.

About the role:
* Design of electrical building services and infrastructure.
* Tendering and coordination of design activities with project teams.
* Management and mentoring of junior staff.
* Acting as key RPS contact with clients and other design team members.
* Preparation of fee proposals and management of fees.
Qualifications:
Candidates are not expected to possess every skill listed below. Requirements vary based on the level of the position and are not exhaustive.
* Minimum Level 8 qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (e.g., Energy or Building Services).
* Strong technical ability in Electrical Engineering Services & Design.
* Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
* 3/10+ years relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment.
* Knowledge of current Electrical Design standards.
* Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and specialist electrical design software (.Amtech, Dialux).
* Experience in client, vendor, and contractor interaction and management.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
* Attention to detail.
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Lead or participate in integrated engineering design teams on multidisciplinary projects.
* Design and specify electrical engineering solutions compliant with current regulations and standards.
* Work directly with clients and project engineers to develop technical solutions.
* Carry out electrical building services design, either independently on smaller projects or as part of a team on larger projects.
* Lead pre-construction engineering activities, including design development, construction details, services coordination, and technical submittals.
* Provide off-site technical support to construction teams.
