The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.
Only candidates with current permissions and visa status eligible to work in Ireland will be considered.
Experience working in a previous Maintenance Department would be an advantage.
Main responsibilities of the role include: Daily tasks would involve keeping up the maintenance of our hotel.
Carry out regular hotel inspections to identify maintenance requirements Perform minor repairs.
Painting all areas of hotel.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
Ensuring the upkeep of the yard and back areas.
To ensure an efficient planned prevention maintenance system is in place for all key equipment.
Carrying out of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance routines as per the departmental requirements in painting, tiling, plumbing, carpentry, electricity.
To assist with work in the Rooms, Kitchens and Bar Area i.e. tile grouting, light plumbing.
Abide by all the hotels safety procedures and complete all training as required.
To liaise with outside contractors to ensure all maintenance issues are rectified.
To ensure repairs are carried out on a timely manner.
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest professional and Safety standards possible.
To maintain effective communications with all other Departments with specific attention to Front Office, Bar and Kitchen.
