Grade V - Executive Assistant to the Clinical Director – CDC
Purpose of the Role
The post holder will provide full administrative support to the Clinical Director CDC and ensure administratively that all directions of the Office of the Clinical Director are implemented. Also, the purpose is to ensure that the workflow of the Clinical Director’s Office is managed confidentially, efficiently and effectively at all times.
Essential Criteria
Secretarial or relevant 3rd level qualification or a minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience within a hospital setting
Proven experience of managing corporate relationships with internal and external agencies
Experience of report writing and minute taking
Ability to work to deadlines and devise and implement plans and changes
Experience of general office procedure
Experience of Microsoft Office
Excellent and proven verbal and written communication and report writing skills.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent computer literacy required to provide reports, presentations etc.
Ability to deal with challenging individuals or situations in a constructive manner
Excellent communication skills
Good analytical skills with ability to develop and interpret work flow and amend/improve where necessary
Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
