Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to support their HR and Finance teams during a peak period.
This role is crucial to ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll systems, and will be part of a team implementing a new payroll solution which will be fully integrated with other systems.
Temporary 6 Month Contractinitially.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the Payroll function and related activities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Maintain accurate payroll Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve discrepancies Integral part of the team assisting with the Migration to the new platform Collaborate with HR and finance to ensure data accuracy Payroll KPI's reporting and commentary Requirements: Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role - 5 years Strong understanding of payroll procedures and legislation Proficiency in Payroll software - Micropay / SAP.
