- €65,000 Location: Co.Meath Salary: €60,000+ Ideal Profile You are a newly qualified accountant who enjoys taking ownership of core financial processes in a fast-paced environment.You are detail-driven, analytically minded, and comfortable working with large data sets while collaborating across finance and wider business teams.Youre motivated by continuous improvement and want to develop your career within a growing organisation.Why Apply for the Role Take ownership of month-end close and financial reporting Gain exposure to group reporting, intercompany accounting, and business growth initiatives Work in a supportive, collaborative finance team Clear opportunities for career progression and development Competitive salary and strong benefits package The Company This is a growing, multi-entity organisation operating across Ireland and the UK, with a strong focus on operational excellence and customer service.The business is expanding through both organic growth and acquisition, creating an exciting environment for finance professionals who want to broaden their experience and make a tangible impact.Key Responsibilities Prepare and post monthly journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, and depreciation Own balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts Review and analyse P&L movements to ensure accuracy and completeness Support consolidation and intercompany reconciliations Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (FRS 102 / IFRS) Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors Contribute to strengthening internal controls and improving finance processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis Support system improvements, automation initiatives, and M&A activity Your Experience Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Strong grounding in financial accounting and controls Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle large data sets High attention to detail and strong analytical capability Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally Desirable: Experience using ERP systems (e.g.Sage Intacct or similar) Exposure to group reporting and intercompany accounting Experience in a multi-entity or international environment Please note: Applicants must be based in or within commutable distance of Dublin/Meath.
