As a MEP Coordinator, you will be the client's on-site representative ensuring construction management companies and subcontractors meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate all construction, Mechanical, Electrical, and Process (MEP) works across the project to ensure integration with other trades.
* Oversee safety management protocols, fostering a culture of safety on site.
* Manage multiple projects and scopes concurrently, identifying issues early and taking corrective action.
* Engage in schedule, cost, and quality control to ensure MEP work meets design specifications and client objectives.
* Challenge proposals from contractors with confidence and technical understanding.
* Manage work in live facility environments, ensuring operations remain unaffected and risks are managed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator or similar role on pharmaceutical construction projects.
* Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in MEP and construction project coordination.
* In-depth understanding of construction safety, GMP environments, and working within live operational facilities.
* Demonstrable ability to manage multiple work fronts and contractors concurrently.
* Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning.
* Excellent project controls knowledge (schedule, cost, quality).
* Proven ability to drive action, resolve issues independently, and maintain project momentum.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
* Experience in managing handover packs, pre-startup controls, and snagging processes.
* Proficient in interpreting scopes of work, drawings, and specifications.
Work Arrangement Expectation is that the person will be on site 5 days per week. There may be a hybrid option when workloads are suitable.
