Organization Overview
As part of the Global Clinical Trial (CT) Supply team, you will support portfolios for Phase 1, 2, or 3 clinical trials. We collaborate with packaging CMOs, develop knowledge about packaging and labeling operations, and work closely with other functions to innovate, improve efficiency, and build strong relationships to sustain our mission.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Assignments
* Support pipeline compounds within Lilly’s portfolio, focusing on packaged clinical trial materials dispensed to patients.
* Understand packaging configurations, strategies, recipes, and risks associated with assigned work.
Judgement and Critical Thinking
Build relationships across teams and external partners, including FING Plant Planners, CT Supply Planning Molecule Planners, and Packaging & Distribution Quality. Know key contacts for help, advisement, and escalation.
Documentation
* Access, create, and provide documentation for packagers.
* Review batch records and collaborate with quality teams.
* Anticipate and resolve issues related to CT orders.
* Use DCPR to ensure CT order compliance.
* Issue required documents for CT orders, process SAP transactions, and manage shipment documentation.
System Proficiency
Develop proficiency in SAP, electronic document systems, SharePoint, and Trackwise.
Finance
* Approve quotes up to $500K, understand pricing, monitor invoices, and ensure compliance with policies.
Unique Opportunities
Build expertise in areas like investigation, qualification, process improvement, and change leadership. Grow in project management and other specialty areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or related field, or HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years’ clinical experience.
Required Education or Certifications
Same as minimum qualifications. PMP or similar certifications are a plus. Experience in managing inventory or complex supply chains is also advantageous.
