Key Responsibilities
* Health and safety process are followed by all staff.
* Staff have the Correct PPE.
* Reporting of near misses on the health and safety portal.
* Dealing with staff daily.
* Problem solving / dealing with day-to-day issues.
* Customer requirements /Export and Paperwork files are sent on time.
* Ensuring stock rotation is being adhered to, and that all priority picking instructions from the production planners is completed.
* Order is picked and shipped to customer spec and presented in high standard.
* Engaging with management to drive improvements and opportunities.
* Ensuring only trained staff are operating machinery.
* PPT, Forklift, Shunter Driving Loading and unloading trailers.
* Ensuring that the area is kept clean and debris free.
* Ensuring that all paperwork is completed including intake and despatch check.
* Liaison with the QC departments within WGH and ensure that protocol is followed so that stock does not get misplaced.
* Organising loading to keep the floor moving.
* Shift cover for evenings reviewing with the Despatch Lead.
* Ensuring staff are on time to start their shift, Breaks and clocking are followed as procedure.
Requirements
What we need from you?
* Basic computer skills are advantageous
* Good people management skills
* Target-oriented approach
* Commitment to confidentiality
* Previous experience in meat production (beef processing preferred)
* Responsible from pre op. to post op. handover
* Manage staff holidays
