Occupational Health Specialist
This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as an Occupational Health Specialist. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical assessments, immunisation programmes, health surveillance, and evidence-based guidance to support safe recruitment and workforce wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive pre-employment screening with occupational health needs assessment
* Assess the fitness of employees returning to work following sickness absence and develop rehabilitation programmes to ensure duty of care
* Carry out Occupational Health screening following short- and long-term absence referral
* Communicate with HR and Managers working to support the individual within flexibilities of service
The ideal candidate will be a Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration, strong clinical decision-making and documentation skills, and excellent communication and ability to work independently. Additionally, they will have knowledge of eOpas Occupational Health Management Software and proficiency in IT systems and digital assessment tools.
