Who You'll Work With

The Investments business is one of the key drivers of revenues and profitability at Corebridge Financial. Our Investments professionals are responsible for investing the insurance premiums and deposits we collect to generate net investment income that is available to pay claims or benefits and provide returns to shareholders. Corebridge Financial Investments provides advisory and asset management solutions to Corebridge Financial, its business units and third-party. clients, globally, maintaining an internal investment platform across multiple asset classes. These asset classes include investment grade and high yield corporate debt, sovereign and emerging market debt, municipal debt, securitized products, residential and commercial mortgage loans, private placements, real estate, public equities and private equity. The Investment team is comprised of portfolio managers, traders, research analysts, product owners, loan originators and underwriters and other professionals endeavoring to provide strong returns on our clients' invested capital. At Corebridge Financial Investments, we are thought leaders in the global asset management industry with expertise and capital spanning the globe.

About The Role

This Role will be a 12-month FIXED TERM CONTRACT backfill for a maternity leave cover starting 01st March 2026. The Global Capital Markets Operations team are seeking a Reconciliation Analyst based in Dublin.

Corebridge Global Capital Markets (GCM) ensures that Corebridge Financial is optimizing its funding sources and capital structure while also reducing costs of capital and generating greater financial flexibility for the company. GCM manage cash, foreign exchange, short-term investments and funding, global debt and equity financing, hedging and related margin activities.

The Global Capital Markets Operations team is part of Global Investment Operations supporting Global Capital Markets and is comprised of two main groups:

GCM Treasury Operations provide FX clearing, currency balancing, securities settlement and funding, cash and asset reconciliations and trade administration for the STI portfolio and Issued Debt.

GCM Margin Management Provide daily margin monitoring and management. Support an enterprise-wide infrastructure to support policies, procedures, controls, efficiencies in Corebridge margin and collateral process.

Responsibilities

This role requires strong problem solving and analytic skills. The individual will be part of a team but will be expected to work independently and act decisively in escalating or resolving issues demonstrating sound judgment. The individual will be expected to identify, manage and prioritize tasks in relation to the risks and importance. The position holder will be responsible for:

* Daily Reconciliation of the firm's multi-currency cash and securities transactions
* Identify, report, track and investigate Due To Due From obligations
* Clearing Aladdin position exceptions in relation to GCM activities
* Monitoring and projecting of the cash positions and report resulting account funding requirements
* Engaging in constant interaction with the trade counterparties, bank representatives and internal Accounting and Operations teams
* Performing detailed investigation and resolution of fails and discrepancies.
* Monthly reporting to Investment, derivative and Loans accounting teams and follow up query resolution.
* Identify and manage key risks in cashflow management and funding.
* Participating in project work to enhance Reconciliation capabilities.

Skills & Qualifications

* A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or other business-related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' financial services experience within a Treasury, Accounting or Operations department
* Institutional Banking experience preferred
* Experience with securities and derivative settlements and cash processing
* Familiar with Ledger account entry and double-entry accounting
* Detailed understanding of operation workflows, controls and key risks
* Previous experience with Aladdin an advantage
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, while maintaining strong attention to detail and prioritizing work within tight deadlines
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel V-look ups, Formulas etc;
* Sound analytical/numerical skills.
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity
* Demonstrate professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
* Excellent client-facing communication skills
* Excellent communication skills both oral and written
* Ability to interface with executives productively and professionally
* Proven organizational and interpersonal skills

This position is based in Corebridge Financial's Dublin office located at 30 North Wall Quay, IFSC, Dublin 1 and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
