Senior Data Scientist – Payment Integrity Decision Intelligence

We are seeking a disciplined, self‑motivated professional who approaches challenges with integrity and humility. Ideal candidates will have experience with cutting‑edge technologies such as large language models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, GenAI solutions, and predictive modelling.
Primary Responsibilities
* Design and deploy intelligent models using advanced statistical techniques, traditional machine learning, deep learning, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI.
* Lead cross‑functional discovery sessions to translate business challenges into analytical objectives.
* Deliver robust statistical analyses that combine inference with generative reasoning.
* Collaborate with data stewards and engineering teams to curate high‑quality datasets.
* Develop end‑to‑end pipelines, document processes, and support reproducibility.
* Communicate insights to stakeholders, translating complex findings into actionable narratives.
* Monitor and refine model performance, recommend enhancements, and drive measurable improvements.
Required Qualifications
* Advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent.
* Proficiency in traditional machine learning and statistical modelling.
* Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, and related languages.
* System‑level thinking and creative problem‑solving track record.
* Experience transitioning projects from PoC to production with focus on scalability.
* Exposure to LLM technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of US healthcare data (claims, clinical records, etc.).
* Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
* Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex.
* Hands‑on implementation of academic research into solutions.
* Understanding of emerging prompting strategies and evaluation of benefits.
