Process Engineer Lead - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract
Are you local to Athlone and looking for your next contract assignment? Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, are recruiting for a Process Engineer Lead to join their newly assembled team and help contribute towards the development of their next core projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage manufacturing process recipes, facility fit and equipment setups for New Product introductions and process updates.
2. Accountable for delivery of technical documents, including protocols, reports and SOPs supporting the manufacturing process.
3. Assists in evaluating process equipment and controls
4. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, action plans to implement operational excellence, and lean practices along with setting and maintaining department goals and metrics.
Requirements:
5. Experience in the design, modification, and optimisation of upstream and downstream processes steps.
6. Experience in process optimisation troubleshooting for manufacturing processes.
7. Experience of Delta-V, Unicorn, or other Manufacturing Automation systems.
8. BSc, MSc in a relevant discipline (e.g., biochemistry, chemistry, process engineering) or equivalent experience.
9. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation and/or bioprocess development, with experience in upstream unit operations, process scale up, facility fit and process validation.
