Job Title
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Commercial Manager.
The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing the full commercial lifecycle of projects, from initial cost planning and tendering through to the final account settlement.
Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost plans, Bill of Quantities (BOQ)s, and budget estimates for projects.
* Lead procurement processes, negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage contract variations and claims.
* Track project expenditure, provide accurate cost reporting, monitor cash flow, and forecast costs against budget.
* Identify, assess, and report on commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project profitability.
* Communicate effectively with clients, design teams, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and build relationships.
Skill Requirements
* Candidate must be proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
* Familiarity with construction regulations and standards is essential.
* Experience in managing budgets and financial forecasts is required.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
