The Security Manager, assigned to a pharmaceutical client, will supervise and safeguard the client's premises across Ireland. Responsibilities include managing physical security programs, implementing best practices, and responding to threats to protect assets, employees, and intellectual property.
Responsibilities
1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2. Develop and manage physical security programs tailored for the pharmaceutical sector.
3. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigations.
4. Oversee security systems such as access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarms.
5. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services for incident response planning.
6. Handle sensitive information and proprietary pharmaceutical products securely.
7. Provide security leadership across multiple locations, ensuring policy adherence.
8. Train and lead security staff to maintain a secure environment.
9. Communicate with senior management and global teams to align security strategies.
10. Manage security budget and resources effectively.
11. Ensure compliance with relevant security, health, and safety regulations.
12. Prepare and present security reports on incidents and improvements.
Qualifications
5-10 years' experience in a similar security management role, with relevant certifications preferred. A combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential functions is acceptable.

- Experience in emergency response and crisis management.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
