Role of this position
Implement, maintain and sustain the ISO14001:2015 Standard for the site by working with an external vendor to implement this key requirement for the site.Conduct Occupational Hygiene Risk Assessments based on activities performed on the site.Work with Consultants to complete Occupational hygiene monitoring and co-ordinate other related activities as required.Maintains the Chemical Register for the site and works with the relevant stakeholders to introduce new chemicals to the site.Manages the Contractors Management and the Permit to Work Process for the site.Provide and develop Chemical Awareness, Manual Handling and EHS Induction Training, Contractor Management, Permit to Work and other Safety Training as required.Provide training on the EHS Software System to users and act as site SME.
JOB REQUIREMENTS A relevant third level qualification in Science, Engineering or EHS, with at least 5 years' experience in the environment, health, and safety area, ideally in the MedTech or Pharma industry.Good overall knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in Environment, Health, and SafetyKnowledge of Chemicals and Chemical Safety
