What’s the Opportunity?
Our client, one of Ireland’s leading coffee suppliers, is seeking a passionate and commercially driven Commercial Coffee Channel Manager to lead growth across key channels. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and wants to shape the future of coffee in Ireland.
As Commercial Coffee Channel Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue, margin, and profitability across multiple channels, including HORECA, Business & Industry, and Wholesale. Leading a team of five talented Channel Specialists, you will set the vision, build collaboration, and deliver exceptional customer experiences that fuel sustainable growth.
Sounds great, what does my day to day look like?
* Lead, coach, and inspire a team of five Channel Specialists, empowering them to achieve excellence across HORECA, Business & Industry, and Wholesale channels.
* Partner closely with another Channel Manager to ensure a cohesive, best-in-class commercial strategy.
* Drive channel growth through strategic account management and strong customer partnerships.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including Marketing, Category Management, Technical, and Commercial Finance – to deliver aligned commercial plans.
* Manage and deliver sales, contribution, and profitability targets, ensuring long-term sustainable performance.
* Support the Coffee Director in shaping and executing the overall business strategy.
* Bring discipline and focus to commercial performance through robust reporting, forecasting, and insight.
* Work with the Technical team to deliver outstanding coffee equipment and service solutions.
* Develop and nurture customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and organic growth potential.
* Provide regular updates on performance, opportunities, and key client developments.
So what do you need from me in terms of experience?
* Proven experience in a commercial sales leadership role within the Hot Beverage, Foodservice, or FMCG sector.
* Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
* Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable results.
* Experience managing complex customer P&L structures and achieving commercial outcomes.
* In-depth understanding of the Foodservice landscape, especially within HORECA and Limited-Service channels.
* Ideally, credible experience within the coffee industry and an established professional network.
