Permanent Whole Time Post Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Pharmaceutics in the School of Pharmacy UCC. The successful appointee will initially be supporting the delivery of the industry-focused post graduate programmes in the School, such as the MSc Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences, Operations & Management and MSc in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Sciences. The successful appointee will also be expected to contribute to other postgraduate and undergraduate programmes as directed by the Head of School. In accordance with the University's strategic objective as a research-led institution, the duties of all academic staff will include research, research-led teaching and contributions to the University, the discipline and the community. The appointee will have demonstrated potential to work within a team and will be tasked with the delivery and advancement of this industry-focused post graduate programme. The appointee will be responsible for teaching the core principles of Industrial Pharmaceutical Science, including areas such as Industrial Pharmaceutical Development, Bio/Pharmaceutical Technology, Bio/Pharmaceutical Processing, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Sciences and Regulatory Science. This role involves lecturing students enrolled in the MSc Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences, Operations & Management and MSc in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Sciences, as well as to to other postgraduate and undergraduate programmes at UCC. The appointee will be expected to teach and examine, undertake administrative duties appropriate to the post and will report to the Head of School of Pharmacy.
