As a Lead Java Developer at Emergn, you'll help us shape Emergn's exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

We want you to:
* Take responsibility over designing, coding, testing and deploying Java-based applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, architecture and delivery timelines.
* Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
* Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
You're a perfect fit if you have:
* Solid proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, SpringBoot, and designing RESTful APIs.
* Experience and expertise in AWS, No-SQL/Relational Databases, creating and testing application flow, including application logic, databases, integrations, and APIs.
* Experience and expertise in advanced topics like asynchronous processing, background threads, concurrency handling, analyzing bottlenecks & optimizing back-end services for performance, and developing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
* Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

* This is an onsite position based in Dublin, Ireland.
