In addition, the ideal candidate should have an expert understanding of Windows tools such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Hyper‑V, Windows Failover Clustering, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (ECM) or AWS Systems Manager
Proficiency in PowerShell, or a similar scripting language, and windows automation are essential. This role demands a solid foundation in networking principles and hands‑on experience with hardware troubleshooting and system building
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems
(Desirable) Knowledge of critical data center equipment
(Desirable) Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures
(Desirable) Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA
(Desirable) Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure
(Desirable) Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure
(Desirable) Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains
