Assistant Accommodation Manager
We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Professional to manage daily work duties and cleaning tasks in Roscommon, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assign and coordinate daily work duties and cleaning lists for Accommodation Assistants/Porters.
* Provide on-the-job training and development opportunities for Accommodation staff.
* Regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with industry standards.
* Document maintenance issues and implement effective solutions.
* Oversee deep cleaning programs and ensure timely resolution of maintenance matters.
* Collaborate closely with front office, reservations, maintenance, and other departments to achieve seamless operations.
* Respond promptly and efficiently to guest concerns and complaints.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
* Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
* Promote eco-friendly practices within the Accommodation department.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in an Accommodation role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial position.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
* Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluency in written and spoken English.
* Good IT skills.
