Our Client a leading distributor of MRO Products and Services (maintenance, repairs, overhaul) are looking to attract a General Operative for their Customer Pharmaceutical Site in Cork. Reporting to the Insite Manager, this is a hands-on role combining van driving, stores operations, and stock control, supporting efficient warehouse and customer delivery operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock handling, timely deliveries, and smooth day-to-day stores management.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out local van deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional mannerLoad and unload delivery vehicles accurately and efficientlyStock counting and cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracyGoods inwards: receiving, checking, and booking in deliveriesStock put-away to designated warehouse locationsGeneral stores management, maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehousePicking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatchAdhering to all health & safety procedures and company policiesSupporting the wider warehouse team as requiredKey RequirementsFull, clean Category B driving licence essentialManual handling certification, counter balance, fork lift license essentialPrevious experience in a warehouse, stores, or general operative roleExperience with stock control or inventory management is desirableGood attention to detail and strong organisational skillsPhysically fit and capable of manual handlingReliable, punctual, and team-orientedBasic IT skills (e.g. handheld scanners or warehouse systems) advantageousJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceApplication question(s):Have you previous experience as a General Operative in a fast paced manufacturing environment?Have you current manual handling, counter balance and forklift licenses?Work Location: In person
