Solutions Architect – Azure Services - €700 Per DayIrish Semi State Organisation based in North County Dublin has an urgent requirement for a Solutions Architect with very strong Microsoft Azure experience.The duration of this role will initially be for two years, with a high probability of extension beyond this timeframe. Attendance for this role will be on a hybrid basis, with the successful candidate required on site on average 2 days per week which may increase during the early states of the assignment and at key project junctures.Responsibilities of Role:Design and implement scalable, secure and resilient architectures for cloud and on-premise applications, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Leverage Azure services (Azure functions, Logic Apps, Containers, Azure App Service, Azure SQL etc) to build scalable and resilient systems.Work closely with Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics, Business Applications and development teams to define cloud solutions in line with business need, architecture standards and principles and IT Security policy.Develop clear well-structured documentation that clearly define system components, interfaces and data flows.Evaluate and recommend innovative and emerging technologies and tools that can enhance business capability, productivity and competitiveness.Collaborate and communicate effectively with IT and business stakeholders to better understand the need and ensure its being met through technical solution designs and specifications.Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing architectures to identify areas of improvement or identify risk.Ensure any deviation from technology strategy, principles & standards are properly identified, actioned, and communicated.Essential Candidate RequirementsThird Level Degree or Postgraduate Qualification in IT, Computer Science or other area relevant to the role5-7 years of experience in an Architecture role, with at least 3 in an Azure cloud focused environment.TOGAF, Zachman, or other relevant architecture certifications.Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Iaas and PaaS Services and how they can be leveraged to deliver best in class solutions.Broad knowledge of Application Integration, Data Platforms, Infrastructure, Networks, AI.Experience working across diverse business and customer systems, technologies and processing environments with a high level of integration in a hybrid cloud setting.Demonstrated experience in bringing all these respective technologies into a cohesive, effective solution design.Architectural thinker who can demonstrate an understanding of architecture and technology strategy and the importance of aligning to same.Demonstrate an ability to understand and advocate for long-term ("big picture") decision making, while also navigating tactical, short-term challenges.Self-motivated with a passion for keeping up with industry trends.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Clear communicator and collaborator with stakeholders and project teams.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.While not essential, any Azure or other Microsoft based certification would be most welcomeProven track record of defining solution designs and managing technical direction in teams.Very strong Stakeholder management and general communications skillsIMPORTANTAll applicants must have UK right to work status as our client cannot provide any kind of Visa or Work Permit sponsorship at present.To Apply:For more information on this role,please contact Níall on or or send current CV along with brief cover letter through this site
