About the Role:
As a Purchasing Administrator, you will support the procurement team with administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company processes. You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the smooth operation of purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document management
* Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements
* Manage the new accounts process, ensuring approvals are in place
* Conduct due diligence on new account requests and liaise with the Finance Department as needed
* Communicate with project sites regarding vendor set-ups
* Maintain and update trackers and databases for new account requests
* Issue and review Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) for potential vendors
* Monitor supplier insurance certificates and request updates as required
* Review certificates under team guidance to confirm appropriate coverage
