Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Professional to support young people in a residential setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care, promoting independence and person-centred planning.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum Level 7 Qualification in Social Care or a relevant area
* A clear understanding of person-centred care and keyworking
* Experience with risk assessments and safeguarding of young people in care
* Working knowledge of HIQA policies and procedures
* Working knowledge of Children's First guidelines and procedures
* A full Clean Manual Driving License
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualised care and support to young people in a residential setting. This will include:
* Supporting young people with daily living tasks and promoting independence
* Assisting with risk assessments and implementing safety measures
* Providing emotional support and guidance to young people
