Position:Building SurveyorLocation:CorkEmployment Type:Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experiencedBuilding Surveyorto support the delivery of renewable energy projects. This role involves conducting surveys, energy audits, and technical assessments of domestic properties to ensure compliance with building and SEAI regulations. You will play a key role in evaluating existing buildings, advising on remedial works, and supporting design and delivery teams to achieve high-quality, energy-efficient installations.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet clients to discuss project plans and requirements.Inspect existing buildings for defects and compliance issues.Conduct feasibility studies and energy audits.Perform energy engineering calculations and quality assessments on energy-efficient works.Draft scheme designs, timelines, and specifications for works.Advise on health & safety, environmental impact, and sustainability.Coordinate with subcontractors and manage documentation.Resolve variations identified during surveys.Prepare complete project files for handover to Project Managers.Support technical activities during design and works stages.RequirementsProven experience as a Building Surveyor or similar technical role.Strong knowledge of current building regulations and SEAI guidelines.Ability to perform precise measurements and provide accurate technical data.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Competence in preparing reports, drawings, and feasibility studies.Good IT skills (MS Office, surveying/reporting software).Full driving licence.Desirable:BER Assessor qualification or currently undertaking BER training.BenefitsCompetitive SalaryPerformance BonusLaptop & Mobile PhoneHealthcare ContributionVan & fuel cardHours of work 8am – 4.30pm
