Financial Institutions Relationship ManagerMy client based in Dublin City Centre is currently on the lookout for a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager to join their team.Daily rate contractThe Financial Institutions Relationship Manager is accountable for managing, developing, and expanding relationships with key Financial Institution clients. The role focuses on delivering outstanding client experience, driving sustainable revenue growth, and improving overall client profitability and operational effectiveness.Role ContextIdentify and support new revenue and cross-selling opportunities within the assigned client portfolio.Ensure successful revenue delivery from client solutions implemented in collaboration with sales and delivery teams.Maintain strong awareness of industry trends and market developments.Build deep relationships across client organisations and engage key stakeholders in partnership with internal sales, operations, and service teams to achieve exceptional client outcomes.Monitor the progress of deals through implementation in coordination with delivery and operational partners.Collaborate with global and regional sales specialists to prepare and deliver client relationship reviews where required.Manage and coordinate responses to client enquiries, either directly or through appropriate internal teams.Establish strong working relationships with international teams to effectively represent client interests.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Growth and Portfolio ManagementDrive revenue generation through cross-selling and collaborative sales initiatives.Partner closely with global and regional sales specialists to expand existing relationships and maximise revenue potential.Oversee the implementation of client solutions and ensure timely revenue ramp-up.Monitor portfolio performance, including revenue retention and attrition, and provide regular reporting and insights.Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support portfolio planning.Lead and manage responses to client tenders and rebid processes.Client Leadership and AdvocacyAct as the primary representative of the client within the organisation.Champion client needs and ensure issues are addressed efficiently through collaboration with internal stakeholders.Promote high standards of client service and satisfaction.Gather and communicate client feedback on products, services, and processes.Take ownership of complex client issues, including pricing and billing matters, and drive resolution to completion.Communication and Relationship ManagementSupport client communication related to product changes, regulatory developments, and market updates.Organise and contribute to client relationship reviews and briefing materials.Strengthen relationships across multiple levels of client organisations.Risk and GovernanceEnsure adherence to internal policies, risk frameworks, and sales processes.Maintain awareness of regulatory, risk, and control requirements impacting financial services activities.Experience and KnowledgeExperience in a client-facing role within financial services, such as client services, relationship management, sales, operations, or credit.Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and delivering commercial outcomes.Strong understanding of financial services products and operational processes, ideally within transaction banking, cash management, or trade-related services.Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.Skills and AttributesHighly motivated and results-focused with strong initiative.Proven ability to identify and execute cross-selling opportunities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.Strong prioritisation and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about market and client developments.Solid understanding of regulatory, risk, and control considerations within financial services.QualificationsUniversity degree preferred.Experience within a global financial institution, with broad understanding of cash management and trade products, is advantageous.Core CompetenciesStrong influencing and problem-solving abilities.Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Reliable, collaborative team player.High energy and proactive mindset.Strong organisational and time management skills
