Administrative Assistant

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and loves being part of a high-performing team. As an administrator, you'll be responsible for accurately processing sales orders, delivery dockets, purchase orders, and invoices. You'll also maintain internal systems, ensure records are up-to-date, and answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage general customer enquiries.
You'll work closely with drivers, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless deliveries and collections. Your excellent communication skills will help welcome and assist visitors while supporting smooth interdepartmental communication. Additionally, you'll assist with stock checks and generate relevant reports as needed.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years' experience in an administrative position, preferably within logistics, transport, or sales. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to confidently and professionally handle a high volume of people and queries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with a willingness to learn new systems quickly. Finally, you must be comfortable working fully on-site in a busy office environment.
