This is an exciting opportunity to learn all aspects of Solar PV in a growing industry. The day-to-day role will involve working closely with our Solar PV operations and technical team to become the central point of contact for all queries relating to Solar PV. As the person quickly develops, he/she will become part of the design team for Solar PV installations.ResponsibilitiesGain an understanding of all technical aspects of Solar PV consisting of Solar PV panels, mounting systems, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, electrical and roofing configurations.Working across domestic, commercial, and agricultural installations.Design domestic and commercial solar PV systems utilizing the latest design softwareGain deep knowledge of energy usage within customers properties and advise how best to utilise their systems.Become the point of contact within our operations team for all technical queries relating to Solar PV.Engage with customers and advise resolutions to technical queries.Work closely with our electricians and roofing teams.Travel to customer sites to resolve issues that may arise.Make recommendations to management on best-in-class equipment.Contribute to the team by providing ideas to improve product quality, process improvements, guidelines and standards.Provide training to the wider team on the functionality of all products.RequirementsDegree in Engineering, ideally with background in renewables.Previous work experience in Solar PV or renewables is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal staff and customers where required.Must be driven, ambitious and self-motivated.Must have a passion for what you do and have pride in your work.Full clean drivers' licenseProblem solverStrong technical understanding with demonstrative knowledgeThe ability to work with a team and one's own initiativeExcellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to deal with and prioritise multiple tasksStrong IT skillsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €1.00 per yearWork Location: In person
