Store Manager (Retail & Operations)

We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated
Store Manager
to lead a busy retail site, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving operational excellence and commercial performance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store.
You'll lead from the front—ensuring high standards across customer service, team performance, compliance, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service
Drive sales performance and consistently achieve targets
Ensure the store is presented to the highest standards at all times
Manage stock control, ordering, and merchandising in line with business needs
Oversee daily operations including cash handling, reporting, and compliance
Ensure full adherence to health & safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
Monitor performance metrics (including P&L) and take action to improve profitability
Maintain strong communication with senior management and contribute to business improvements

Proven experience in a
retail or convenience store management role
Strong leadership and team development skills
Commercial mindset with a focus on sales and cost control
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
