Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is a leading, privately owned civil, structural and environmental engineering consultancy with over 250 staff across four UK and Ireland offices. We plan, design and manage major infrastructure projects and invest in staff development.
Responsibilities
Support project engineers and project technicians on assigned projects, fulfilling the project brief in an efficient, controlled and safe manner
Support the project engineer in carrying out design, reporting, contract documentation, checking and contract implementation activity
Support senior engineering and administration personnel in their day-to-day activities
Attend site and supervise and monitor site activities where appropriate
Promote adherence to our systems and standards
Qualifications
Minimum Level 8 degree in civil or structural engineering or equivalent
Keen interest in the practical application of engineering
Strong analytical skills
Good teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills
Good work ethic
Fluency/high level of proficiency in spoken and written English
Work experience in the industry is an advantage
