Project Management Role
A Mechanical Project Engineer is required to lead complex projects in various industries. This position involves site-based engineering management and coordination with contractors.
The successful candidate will oversee daily engineering activities, including scope, programme, and resources. Developing junior engineers and managing subcontractors are key responsibilities.
This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience in technical submittals, commissioning, and handover procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engineering management of scope, programme, and resources
* Developing junior engineers in their roles
* Overseeing submittal and procurement processes
* On-site coordination with main contractors and other trades
* Attending meetings as necessary
* Assisting the Project Manager in reporting on project status
* Implementing policies and standards for Health & Safety and Quality
Requirements:
* Relevant 3rd-level qualification
* 3-4 years' experience in a similar role
* Results-driven with excellent communication skills
* Experience in technical submittals
* Experience in commissioning and handover procedures
