Job Overview
As a senior purchasing professional, you will oversee the daily operations of the purchasing department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with site management and quantity surveyors on material and plant requirements
* Prepare quotation analysis and negotiate prices with suppliers
* Partner with reliable vendors and suppliers, place orders, and ensure prompt delivery
* Forecast price and market trends, assess and manage risks, and determine quantity and timing of deliveries
* Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand, check invoices for accuracy against purchase orders, and perform administrative duties
Successful candidates will have at least 7 years of experience in the construction industry, strong negotiating skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
