On behalf of our client in Dublin, we are hiring a
Research Analyst
to join them on a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation, review, and ongoing maintenance of the Managed Partner Set (MPS), consisting of country-specific government and political data.
* Partner closely with regional GSI Partner Managers to review MPS records and provide recommendations aligned with company policies and guidelines.
* Conduct desk research to build and maintain manual lists and workbooks containing government and political data.
* Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all data outputs.
* Apply data and analytics skills to assess and validate large-scale datasets.
* Upload and maintain data within CRM systems.
* Collaborate with the GSI team to review and update data during elections, ad-hoc requests, and escalations.
* Extract, review, and prepare data from upstream sources and manual lists for inclusion in the MPS.
* Ensure partner data and operational processes remain compliant with company policies while supporting fair and equitable engagement in the government and elections space.
* Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to test system updates, monitor data pipeline signals, identify anomalies, and ensure technical execution aligns with business objectives.
* Analyze complex support workflows, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements across process, policy, and product to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* Track and evaluate key operational metrics to gain insights into the support ecosystem and identify opportunities for optimization.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 5–10 years of experience in data operations or a related field, leading large-scale, global programs or initiatives.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and clearly communicate insights to diverse audiences.
* Proven experience using data to generate actionable business insights, including reviewing and validating dashboards and reports for accuracy and relevance.
* Hands-on experience querying or working with SQL databases.
* Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and Excel to extract, manipulate, and interpret data, as well as monitor data pipeline performance and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of the government and elections space, including international politics, political parties, world leaders and national legislators.
* 2+ years in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management.
* 2+ years with scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R).
* Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in data analytics or government.
