SAP Landscapes are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Machine Repair Assistant to join our expanding workshop team.
This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis. This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with your role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.
Interview process will include a practical test of your experience with machinery.
Position: Machine Repair Assistant
Reporting to: Workshop Repair Manager
Location: Maynooth

As a Mechanic / Fitter you have the potential to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced environment with a team of experts in their field.
Duties Include:
* Maintain service and repair Grass Cutting, Construction Plant and Salt Spreading equipment.
* Repair and maintain road vehicles and trailers.
* Repair or recover breakdowns.
* Carry out scheduled onsite maintenance of site plant and equipment.
* Adhering with out of hours on call requirements in agreement with line manager.
* Available for winter service call outs during winter months on a roster basis.
Responsibilities:
* Adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.
* Adhering to clients site rules and regulations in general and particularly in relation to Health and Safety.
* Completion of accurate job cards and other administrative duties related to works.
* Follow instruction provided by management and your direct line manager.
* Work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
* Ensure work is of a high standard that is expected in SAP Landscapes.

Requirements:
* Valid Safe Pass – Essential
* Provisional / Full Driving Licence
* B+E Licence Desired
* Previous experience in agricultural machinery is an advantage
