Role Purpose - Audit Senior
The primary goal of this role is to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality financial reporting and tax compliance services. You will oversee audit engagements, providing expert technical and commercial advice to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Portfolio Management: Manage a comprehensive portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, corporation and income tax returns.
* Audit Engagement Leadership: Lead audits from planning to completion, adhering to auditing standards and best practices.
* Client Communication: Meet with clients to present accounts, discuss results, and provide proactive advice to drive business growth.
* Regulatory Compliance: Assist clients with regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
* Staff Supervision: Review and supervise the work of junior and part-qualified staff, providing constructive feedback and training opportunities.
* Liaison and Collaboration: Liaise with senior management on complex technical issues, fostering a collaborative environment that drives success.
* Assignment Delivery: Deliver assignments on time, within budget, and to a high standard, meeting client expectations and driving business outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications:
* ACA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent) qualified or finalist.
* 3-5 years' practice experience.
* Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and tax compliance.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on client-facing interactions.
* Experience mentoring and supervising staff.
* Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple assignments.
* Commercial awareness with ability to provide advisory input.
