As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and coaching teams, facilitating process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Maintenance leaders play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the IWS Maintenance lead, coaching teams and facilitating process improvements.
* In the absence of the Maintenance Manager, assume full maintenance manager responsibilities to ensure operational continuity.
* Manage daily operations of the Maintenance team, including repairs, improvements, project priorities, work assignments and scheduling to minimize production disruption.
* Oversee execution of all maintenance tasks, both planned and reactive, alongside the Maintenance Manager.
* Participate in regular team meetings to align with operational and company objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant City & Guilds qualification (electrical preferred).
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven leadership experience in maintenance or engineering teams.
* Excellent people management and coaching skills.
* Ability to manage a team and prioritize maintenance schedules effectively.
* Strong technical background and competence.
