Job Title:
A Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in the financial services sector, overseeing customer records and processing transactions with precision.
About the Role:
This position requires an individual who can maintain accurate financial information, identify discrepancies, and ensure all actions comply with policies and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management:
o Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and accessible financial records
o Identify inconsistencies and discrepancies in financial information
o Complete operational finance processes efficiently
o Process customer-driven transactions, including refunds, journals, cash payments, and settlements
o Manage unallocated/suspense cash items proactively
* Compliance through Risk Management:
o Create and maintain documentation for owned processes
o Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, legislative, and regulatory requirements
o Maintain accurate records for audit purposes
* Customer Service:
o Maintain high standards of internal and external relationships
o Resolve queries promptly to deliver superior customer service
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or finance
* Relevant business/accounting qualification (desired)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services
