Opportunity for an Inventory and Warehouse Manager for a Manufacturing company based in Cavan, successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing company inventory levels.
This includes planning, organising, and controlling inventory flow to ensure the right products are available at the right time, at the right place and in the right quantity.
The Inventory and Warehouse Manager will report to the Head of Supply Chain and works closely with Planning, Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics and Warehouse staff to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce excess stock, prevent stock outs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Objectives of the Inventory and Warehouse Manager
* Lead and Develop the Warehouse Team.
* Manage Inventory Control Systems
* Monitor Kanban Stock Levels and Reorder Points
* Conduct Regular Audits and Cycle Counts
* Coordinate with Suppliers and Logistics
* Minimise Waste and Obsolescence
* Ensure Compliance and Safety
Requirements for the Role:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with focus on Inventory or Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or Operations Management.
2–5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations including a proven track record of:
* Managing stock control systems.
* Handling procurement or purchasing requirements.
* Using enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Leading and setting goals for performance and operational improvement.
