About the Role:
Our client, a leading multinational engineering company, specializes in supplying and installing manufacturing plant and equipment. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. The role involves electrical design, site supervision, and project execution for liquid processing and similar industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical Design: Develop electrical designs adhering to regulations, standards, and specifications.
* Project Execution: Plan, design, budget, purchase, install, and commission electrical systems and components for projects.
* Site Supervision & Commissioning: Oversee site activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and manage the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Motor Control & Instrumentation: Work with motor control systems, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning.
* Coordination: Collaborate effectively with third parties, contractors, and end users to ensure seamless project execution.
* Schedule Management: Work independently to manage schedules and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of projects.
About You:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will have:
* A third-level qualification in engineering (diploma or honours bachelors degree, NFQ level 7+), or a Craft or other technical qualifications with significant experience.
* Electrical Installation supervision experience.
* Instrumentation commissioning experience.
* Motor Control/Electrical Panel experience.
* Motor/Pump wiring experience.
* A minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the processing or related industries.
* Familiarity with electrical design practices, regulations, and standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
* ATEX design and installation experience (preferred).
* Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A full driving license (valid in Ireland, EU, or UK).
