Device Technician - Dublin, Ireland - 12-Month Contract
Located on the picturesque west coast of Ireland, our global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Device Technician to join their state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility.
Situated in the historic province of Connacht, near the Atlantic Ocean, this location offers a blend of Irish culture and modern amenities in a seaside town known for its vibrant bars, restaurants, and water sports.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and operation of moulding and ancillary equipment.
2. Preparation and operation of automated assembly and ancillary equipment.
3. Preparation and operation of pad printing and ancillary equipment.
4. Preparation and operation of manual assembly and ancillary equipment.
5. Troubleshooting daily manufacturing issues impacting efficiency, safety, or quality.
6. Completing quality checks and achieving production quality targets.
7. Providing materials to operations and equipment in a timely and safe manner.
8. Labeling and packing of components and finished products.
9. Operating coordinate measuring and other advanced metrology equipment.
10. Operating fully automated and complex computer-controlled systems, including robotic and vision systems.
11. Participating in divisional projects for new product introduction and process improvements.
12. Resetting equipment as necessary to ensure quality manufacturing.
13. Coordinating team efforts to maximize effectiveness.
14. Documenting all activities in accordance with GMP requirements.
15. Cross-training team members and training new staff.
16. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, environmental, and production systems.
Qualifications:
1. Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
3. Third-level education.
4. Minimum of 1 year experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
